Home Health RN - Traveler
Setting: Providing medical care in the comfort of patients' homes, which involves traveling to various locations daily.
Licensure/Certifications: Proficiency in OASIS assessments is required. Must hold BLS certification, a valid Registered Nurse License, a driver's license, and auto insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Deliver care in patients' homes, requiring daily travel.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience, with at least six months in Home Health.
  • Current RN License.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Additional certifications or licenses may be required.
  • Strong critical thinking, excellent service skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Physical capabilities: ability to remain stationary, move about, and handle equipment.
Essential Skills:
  • Interpersonal Skills - Ability to work well with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Technical Skills - Proficient in fine manipulation and operating department equipment.
  • Mental Skills - Capable of managing frequent public interactions and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Sensory Skills - Adequate visual acuity and communication abilities.
