Job Summary

Catholic Health Service is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by performing a variety of clinical tests.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct biochemical, microscopic, blood bank, and/or bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
  • Perform a range of clinical tests to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist under the New York State Department of Education.
  • Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology.
  • Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $57.75 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will be based on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
