We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Professional with Advanced Training to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, with a Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program being preferred. National Board Certification in a specialty area is also highly desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The Medical Professional with Advanced Training will be responsible for performing a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Additionally, the candidate will participate in performance improvement, research, and educational activities.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $100,000 and $180,000 per year, based on factors such as location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, and credentials. This is a good faith determination and may be modified in the future.
The Medical Professional with Advanced Training will be responsible for taking initial patient histories and performing physical examinations. The candidate will also initiate, document, and communicate the plan of care, and follow up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients. Daily patient rounds, writing orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests, interpreting laboratory and test results, and conferring with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care are all essential functions of this role.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Medical Professional with Advanced Training will be expected to maintain current licensure and certification, and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, required. Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification in a specialty area, highly desirable.
- Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner in New York State, required.
- Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), required.
- Current BLS certification, required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
