Position Overview

In collaboration with the Practice Administrator/Manager, the Lead Patient Care Facilitator is responsible for managing patient insurance referrals, coordinating consultations, and overseeing diagnostic procedures associated with Providence Health & Services. This role also serves as a backup for front office operations, performing a variety of essential tasks as needed. Flexibility to assist in various clinics may be required.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office setting, preferably in a medical environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Background in a healthcare facility or physician's office with knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, CPT codes, or ICD-9 codes.
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical office or procedural scheduling.
