What are we seeking in our Operations Manager for the United States?

A prominent global technology firm is in search of a Contract Ad Operations Specialist.

Location: Hybrid - In-office presence required on select days.

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Compensation: $40-50 per hour

As an Ad Operations Specialist, your role will be pivotal in supporting our U.S. advertising sector to assist partners in launching search and display campaigns. You will collaborate closely with Partner Managers to ensure that essential campaigns meet their marketing goals within our advertising platforms. The ideal candidate will possess robust ad operations experience, particularly in managing sponsored products and search campaigns, along with a comprehensive understanding of display activation and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complete campaign setup, ad trafficking, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance campaign performance to achieve marketing KPIs.
  • Expert in brand direct media, capable of managing a high volume of campaigns across various ad servers and programmatic platforms.
  • Implement multi-tier campaigns utilizing diverse buying strategies.
  • Assist the U.S. Ad Operations Manager in supervising and coordinating our offshore operational team.
  • Engage in cross-functional team initiatives to improve processes, workflows, and the growth of advertising.
  • Manage substantial Performance Marketing budgets effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in digital campaign management fundamentals, including media planning, budget oversight, targeting, and bidding.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to campaign management, swiftly identifying underperforming campaigns, diagnosing issues, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Communicate opportunities that can enhance business growth, such as incremental budget adjustments.
  • Experience in a ROAS performance marketing framework, with familiarity in AdTech, measurement methodologies, and optimization strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience in working with advertisers or media and creative agencies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Ad Operations, AdTech/digital advertising, or a similar role in a data-driven, tech-oriented company.
  • Expertise in managing sponsored products campaigns.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • 4+ years of operational experience at a creative or media agency, media provider, or large advertiser.
  • Previous experience with GAM and Criteo is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Comprehensive understanding of critical campaign components, including brand safety guidelines, ad viewability, and detection of suspicious or fraudulent media activity.
  • Customer-focused, passionate about creating exceptional experiences for users globally.
  • Able to adapt quickly and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • High standards and a proactive attitude, seeking clarity and delivering results while maintaining high expectations for oneself and others.
