Bruker BioSpin is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our EPR Service and Lifecycle Support Team based in Billerica, MA.
Job Summary:We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in electrical engineering, electronics, biotechnology, biology, or chemistry to install, maintain, and repair complex EPR spectrometer systems.
Responsibilities:- Install and support high-technology equipment in research, pharmaceutical, university, and government labs
- Provide technical assistance on-site, via video conference, and over the phone to support customer system operating needs
- Perform on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations of EPR spectrometer systems
- Train customers on the basic operation of the equipment and maintain accurate records in the department database system
- Communicate effectively with customers and company personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Biotechnology, Biology, or Chemistry
- Minimum 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
- Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation
- Excellent customer focus and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and transport equipment and tools in excess of 300 lbs.
