Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of our culinary direction and leading our team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine in overseeing the overall running of the kitchen and team.
  • Develop and implement menu items using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Participate in creating a positive, productive working environment and lead by example.
  • Manage culinary operations and staff on a daily basis to ensure a consistent, high-quality food product.
  • Expedite service efficiency and effectively, maintaining proper pace and quality.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in a restaurant or foodservice retail establishment of similar caliber.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef or Supervisor preferred.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent level of education, required.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent Certification in Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English.
