Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Controller, Corporate and Americas Region to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a proven Finance leader that can demonstrate excellent business partnership while maintaining responsibility for corporate and regional accounting. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, this pivotal role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead a team of ~5 FTEs covering corporate accounting, and Americas region accounting including Plant Controlling at the Washington Works facility.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
Ideal Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (e.g. SAP).
  • Based in Wilmington, DE.
