Job Overview

Holloman & Associates Corp. is seeking a highly motivated Business Development professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing, prospecting, and selling American Family Insurance products in all product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local market dynamics to identify business development opportunities for all product lines.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers and help the agency grow.
  • Proactively cross-sell and coordinate with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers.
  • Prospect for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows, and personal contacts.
  • Prepare quotations and applications and deliver effective presentations to close sales.
  • Meet customers outside of business hours based on scheduled appointments.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities, and organize work.
  • Active Property & Casualty License.
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.).
  • Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information related to clients, customers, employees, carriers, or as appropriate, other information.
