Business Development Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development professional to join our team at Holloman & Associates LLC Defunct. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for marketing, prospecting, and selling American Family Insurance products in all product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop knowledge of the local market dynamics for business development opportunities for all product lines
  • Help the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
  • Proactively cross-sell and or coordinate with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers
  • Prospects for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows, and personal contacts
  • Secures new business through individual effort and established lead methods
  • Prepares quotations and applications and delivers effective presentations in order to close sales
  • Able to meet customers outside of business hours based on scheduled appointments
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work
  • Active Property & Casualty License
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information related to clients, customers, employees, carriers or as appropriate, other information

This position is an Agency Team Member working for the Agency Owner and is not an employee of American Family Insurance.
