Job Overview:

A Sales Associate plays a crucial role in executing the company's Mission Statement by delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients. This position may involve tasks on the sales floor or in a supportive capacity, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience in a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide an outstanding selling experience in a dynamic retail environment.
  2. Welcome customers, assist with product selection, and express gratitude for their patronage.
  3. Prioritize customer satisfaction at all times.
  4. Offer product recommendations and maintain knowledge of inventory.
  5. Address customer service concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
  6. Foster positive relationships with team members.
  7. Ensure the store is visually appealing—keeping displays organized, stocked, and easy to navigate; perform basic housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe space for customers and staff.
  8. Accurately process customer transactions (cash, debit, credit) using the POS system; pay close attention to detail and manage necessary paperwork and processes.
  9. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  10. Follow established Cash Handling and Loss Prevention protocols.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. At least one year of experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  3. Willingness to work various shifts in a team-oriented environment.
  4. Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities in English.
  5. Self-motivated individual capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  7. Proficient in reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
  8. Ability to pass background checks and meet applicable regulatory requirements.
  9. Physical requirements include computer work, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), prolonged standing, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
