Chemours is currently looking for a Chemical Engineering Co-op to become part of our Advanced Performance Solutions team. This role will involve direct reporting to the Engineering Manager at our facility.

As a Chemical Engineering Co-op, you will engage with the Advanced Performance Solutions team, gaining hands-on experience through practical projects within a chemical production environment. This position offers the chance to collaborate with seasoned engineers, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

Successful candidates will demonstrate effective communication skills, self-awareness, and a natural curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced engineering professionals on enhancement and expansion initiatives.
  • Support operations and maintenance teams in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Engage in process safety management activities and evaluations.
  • Contribute to team discussions and virtual meetings.
Required Qualifications:
  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university as a Sophomore or higher at the time of assignment.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Involvement in relevant extracurricular activities, organizations, and projects beyond academic requirements.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
