Job Title: Automation Engineer - DeltaV/PLC Systems

About the Role:

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As a DeltaV/PLC Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support for PLC controllers and associated I/O and HMI's, system maintenance, and loop checks and calibration.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for PLC controllers and associated I/O and HMI's
Perform system maintenance and loop checks and calibration
Troubleshoot Ethernet, serial, and other communication networks between PLCs and HMIs, MES, Serialization system, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address networking issues and ensure system connectivity
Support for maintaining and updating system documentation and procedures
Support execution of IQ, OQ for control system changes and enhancements
Support for system validation documentation and ensure system validation compliance
Support updating of system documentation including SOPs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field
5+ years of process automation experience in life, science industry, and a chemical engineering degree or equivalent
