Natera is seeking a seasoned and accomplished Regional Director of Sales to spearhead our Oncology division within the Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana region. This pivotal position is dedicated to driving the sales and growth of Natera's cutting-edge oncology testing products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Mentor a Team: Oversee a team of six to eight Clinical Oncology Specialists, ensuring profitable growth through strategic planning, execution, and management.
- Develop Business Plans: Create and implement comprehensive business plans and regional strategies to drive rapid product distribution and market penetration.
- Educate and Recruit Key Opinion Leaders: Educate and recruit Key Opinion Leaders within the Oncology and Pathology communities, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other key customer segments.
- Field Guidance and Support: Spend significant time in the field with sales professionals, offering hands-on direction, coaching, and market insights to foster best practices and exceptional sales results.
- Oversee Budget Allocation: Ensure efficient use of resources to meet sales goals, coordinating with corporate support teams to align strategies and initiatives.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to HIPAA/PHI privacy policies, General Policies and Procedures Compliance, and security training requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of successful sales management experience, preferably in Oncology or diagnostic laboratory businesses. At least three years of direct physician sales experience in Oncology or clinical diagnostics.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.
- Leadership and Management: Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to develop new markets, launch innovative products, and rapidly increase revenue.
- Results-Driven: Recognized for outstanding management performance and results.
- Organizational and Time Management: Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Coaching and Development: Strong coaching abilities and openness to feedback.
