Help Desk Technician

Scout Energy Management is seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage IT onboarding for new hires
- Provide technical assistance to employees
- Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
- Offer network support
- Monitor and administer necessary security updates
- Inventory and track hardware throughout the company
- Assist in the inventory and tracking of software installations, updates and usage
- Demonstrated proficiency as a Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Knowledgeable with Windows OS and Microsoft Office
- Knowledgeable with Active Directory/Azure Active Directory
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- High School graduate
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or experience equivalent
