Position Overview:

The Front Desk Administrator is responsible for welcoming residents and guests, managing phone communications, addressing both standard and urgent inquiries, and executing various office-related tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet on-site guests and notify the relevant personnel.
  • Handle incoming calls; assess the purpose of the calls and direct them to the suitable staff or department.
  • Assist the Business Office Manager and other departmental leaders.
  • Oversee visitor access (entry and exit); maintain a visitor log. Ensure the safety of residents by monitoring alarms and emergency systems, and report any irregularities.
  • Receive, open, categorize, and distribute mail.
  • Maintain fax machines, assist users, send faxes, and manage incoming faxes.
  • Generate and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and various documents.
  • Conduct data entry tasks.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Engaging personality.
  • Previous experience in geriatric care, nursing, assisted living, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Self-driven professional with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
