Job Summary

Weatherby Inc is seeking a skilled Stock Assembler to join our team in Sheridan, WY. As a Stock Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components to specifications using various tools and equipment
  • Perform final inspection of finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Operate pneumatic equipment and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment efficiently and safely
  • Load, operate and adjust manufacturing equipment as needed
  • Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary
  • Fill out daily production logs and report any issues or concerns
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Working Conditions

The Stock Assembler will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in this work environment can be loud.
