Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stock Assembler to join our team at Weatherby Inc. in Sheridan, WY. As a Stock Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components to specifications using various tools and equipment.
  • Operate pneumatic equipment and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Perform final inspection for finished product to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Load, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment as needed.
  • Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary.
  • Fill out the daily production log of work activity and operation performance.
  • Installation of 3DHex Recoil Pad.
  • Use hand tools to set up and adjust equipment.
  • Perform routine inspection of parts to ensure that surface finishes and dimensions meet specifications.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to process technician or leader.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Working Conditions

The employee will be subject to prolonged standing and will be required to manipulate and assemble small parts. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. The noise level in this work environment can be loud.
