Overview: This position is for a Program Leader at a company dedicated to enhancing educational experiences and mentorship for students. As a Program Leader, your primary responsibility will be to guide a group of students, acting as a mentor, coach, and role model. You will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and secure environment that encourages student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with homework, provide academic enrichment, and facilitate physical activities in line with the established curriculum.
  • Develop an engaging atmosphere that promotes a sense of community and belonging.
  • Encourage students to make constructive choices and apply disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Involve students through interactive lesson plans and activities.
  • Ensure the safety of students and maintain cleanliness at the educational or community site.

  • Commit to the program for a complete year.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with children, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • College coursework or successful completion of an Instructional Aide Test may be necessary.
  • Effective communication skills within a school environment.

Background Checks/Testing:

  • Successful completion of a Live Scan (criminal background check).
  • Provide evidence of a clear TB test.
  • Pass assessments in Math and English skills.
