SMB Growth Strategist

The Senior Manager, SMB Growth Success, plays a pivotal role in driving growth efforts for PayPal's merchant segment. This includes leading multiple business transformation efforts across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and execute growth strategies to increase acquisition and retention rates among target segments globally.
- Understand the needs and behaviors of merchants, leveraging insights to inform experimentation and optimization across paid and organic channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven acquisition, cross-sell, and upsell strategies, promoting growth and retention.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of business/growth strategy and product marketing experience.
- Competence in marketing fundamentals, including customer insight development and executing go-to-market campaigns.
- Deep understanding of traditional and latest channels used for acquiring and retaining customers.
- Experience managing campaigns across global markets.
- Ability to design measurement frameworks for growth and testing methodologies.
- Past experience with lifecycle marketing & funnel optimization.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the small business customer and genuine interest in helping small businesses succeed.

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $93,300 - $216,040. Actual compensation may vary based on factors like work location and relevant skills and experience.
