Job Summary

Lundbeck is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales team in California. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving business objectives in the psychiatry portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including healthcare providers and payers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of sales management experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of sales success and financial management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and train a team of sales professionals.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% domestically to meet with customers and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in CNS sales management or other areas of the business.
  • Experience working with alliance partners and advocacy groups.
  • Previous experience in product launch or expansion within sales.
