About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Regional Manager to lead our surveying and geospatial group in the west-central region. Your Impact

As a Geospatial Regional Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining charge of all aspects of the surveying and geospatial group within the region. This includes overseeing the management, planning, scheduling, and oversight of multiple surveying and geospatial projects for both internal WSP projects and external clientele.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the state of Florida.
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Surveying, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in discipline with prior surveying experience in a corporate environment with easements, rights of way, plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, property descriptions, and GPS surveys.
  • High-level experience with both public and private sector work (e.g., state, city, county, utility districts, and private land development).
  • Advanced proficiency with land survey principles, practices, process, methods, and techniques.
  • Highly proficient expertise with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • Demonstrated technical competence leading and reviewing technical reports, survey mapping efforts, impact evaluations, siting reports, planning scopes, and environmental permit applications for assigned segments/project.
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior-level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC.
  • Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables and surveys with a high degree of complexity.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
