Financial Wealth Consultant

The Wealth Advisor is dedicated to serving clients with integrity and prioritizing their needs with urgency. This role emphasizes a comprehensive planning approach to help clients achieve their financial aspirations. By actively listening and understanding each client's unique situation, the Wealth Advisor will guide a team to exemplify excellence in financial planning expertise, skill development, and client service.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership
- Collaborate with the Advisory Leadership team to define, implement, and refine the advisory team's strategic business plan.
- Adopt both tactical and strategic perspectives for team growth and development.
- Ensure an exceptional client experience by working closely with team members to deliver outstanding service.
- Provide constructive feedback and developmental opportunities for Associate Wealth Advisors.
- Take responsibility for resolving client issues effectively.
- Lead by example and engage in firm initiatives, embodying the core values of the organization.
Client Engagement
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of financial planning and implementation for clients.
- Master Buckingham's evidence-based investment philosophy.
- Utilize Buckingham's Design | Build | Protect framework actively.
- Conduct comprehensive Client Discovery and Wealth Planning discussions.
- Identify advanced planning opportunities and establish internal best practices.
- Create, modify, and present financial plans using tools such as Money Guide Elite, Orion, and Holistiplan.
- Develop personalized Investment Policy Statements and holistic investment strategies tailored to each client.
- Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to oversee and execute portfolio strategies, including tax loss harvesting.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and information within the client relationship management system.
- Assist in client billing reviews to ensure timely fee collection.
- Utilize CRM software to document client interactions and manage follow-ups.
- Meet clients in person as needed, with potential travel requirements.
Business Development
- Consistently achieve and surpass revenue and growth targets.
- Establish multiple Centers of Influence as active sources for client referrals.
- Demonstrate the ability to generate new business both independently and collaboratively.
- Manage the prospect pipeline for both individual and team efforts, including onboarding new clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, or CPA/PFS are essential.
- A minimum of 7 years of direct client-facing experience in financial services.
- Proven skills in business development.
- Expertise in investment strategies, risk management, tax planning, and estate planning.
- Experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial concepts clearly.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and planning concepts.
- Clean U4 record.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary along with opportunities for annual bonuses and long-term incentives.
