Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will assist the cook in preparing and serving meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided to our residents and clients at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the cook in preparing and serving meals, following established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Specialized training in food service desirable.
  • Current ServSafe certification required by State/County law.
  • Food Handler's card required.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
