What Will Be Expected in This Role?
The Healthcare Revenue Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating financial trends to pinpoint discrepancies and generate analytical reports for assessment. This position entails synthesizing data and insights, preparing presentation materials, and offering recommendations to oversee potential opportunities and risks. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing routine and on-demand analytical reports.
- Conducting analysis and review of Payor Policies.
- Executing Denial and Revenue Cycle trend analysis.
- Utilizing independent judgment to address challenges and propose solutions.
- Completing intricate assignments with precision.
- Employing critical thinking skills to interpret data accurately.
Essential Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience as an analyst is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in PB Revenue Cycle is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, particularly with advanced functions, is preferred.
