Job Title: Manager of Supply Chain Management

L3Harris is a leading aerospace and defense technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet customers' mission-critical needs. We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering supply chain best practices, tools, and processes across material management, procurement, and subcontracts. This role will collaborate with Program Management, Quality, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to oversee and support the implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain best practices, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with global supply chain partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience.
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (advanced).
  • Highly detailed and service-oriented, strong process-driven nature strongly desired.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and communicate requirements internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Solid negotiation and follow-up skills.
  • Experience in defense procurement within International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CostPoint and SAP purchasing modules.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS certification a plus.
  • Experience purchasing electronics, custom metal fabricated parts, cable and wiring harnesses, and/or complex electrical components and assemblies.
