Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Neurology

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Neurology is a highly skilled healthcare professional responsible for delivering medical care to patients with neurological disorders. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practice, as well as expertise in neurology and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive patient care, including history, physical examination, assessment, and treatment.
  • Works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications, and initiates clinical research protocols.
  • Develops and implements a plan of care that is tailored to the patient's needs and goals.
  • Participates in quality assurance programs and peer review activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provides education and support to patients and families, as well as to other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid State of Florida APRN License.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, analyze complex information, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
