Job Summary:

The Medical Office Coordinator role involves providing medical office support, including check-in and some check-out functions. Key responsibilities include managing patient reception, obtaining insurance and demographic information, collecting payments, and scheduling appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support
  • Manage patient reception and track patient movement
  • Obtain patient information and enter it into the system
  • Collect co-payments and manage day-end procedures
  • Ensure proper documentation of canceled/missed appointments
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Run daily reports and assist with other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of office or customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to travel when necessary
  • Able to lift 25 pounds
