Reports to: Accounting Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to assist our senior accounting personnel with various administrative, bookkeeping, and receivables functions. The role encompasses the preparation, processing, dispatching, and collection of payments for invoices.

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with web browser applications such as Google Chrome and Internet Explorer
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous

Educational Background and Experience: A minimum of 3 years in accounting and clerical roles is required. An Associate degree in Accounting or a related discipline is preferred.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong data entry capabilities
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-sufficient
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with colleagues
  • Adept at working within established process workflows
  • Comfortable with electronic data entry in cloud-based platforms

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, process, and issue invoices utilizing Salesforce
  • Engage with customers and Accounts Payable Departments for payment retrieval
  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service to address payment delays
  • Conduct collections calls for overdue accounts
  • Input data and documentation into Salesforce
