About the Role

The NeuroPsych Sales Development Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote Teva's neurology and psychiatry products to healthcare professionals in the Washington, DC area.

This role requires a strong understanding of the neuroscience market, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, and possess a deep understanding of the neuroscience market.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AND INTERACTION
  • PROVIDING PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS, DETAILING, AND IN-SERVICING TO CURRENT AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS
  • CONSULTING WITH PHYSICIANS, NURSES, AND MEDICAL OFFICE STAFF TO PROMOTE PRODUCTS AND PROVIDE PATIENT EDUCATION
  • ANALYZING SALES DATA TO CREATE EFFECTIVE TERRITORY PLANS AND UTILIZE PROMOTIONAL BUDGET FUNDS
  • Maintaining a call average as outlined in the sales plan, defined as face-to-face interactions, with healthcare providers focusing on top target customers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as neuroscience, biology, or chemistry
  • At least one year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven record of accomplishments in sales, including meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Ability to analyze data and create effective territory plans
