Job Summary

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time dental hygiene instructor to join our team. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching clinical dental hygiene, dental materials, dental emergencies, periodontics, oral pathology, and oral biology courses.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and evaluate students in a clinical setting
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals
Requirements
  • Master's degree in dental hygiene or a related field
  • Current licensure as a registered dental hygienist in the state of California
  • Experience teaching dental hygiene courses
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
