Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified part-time dental hygiene instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching clinical dental hygiene, dental materials, dental emergencies, periodontics, oral pathology, and oral biology courses.
Responsibilities- Teach and evaluate student performance in clinical dental hygiene and related courses.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the dental hygiene program.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committee work and professional development.
- Master's degree in dental hygiene or a related field.
- Current licensure as a registered dental hygienist in California.
- Experience teaching dental hygiene courses at the community college level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. The position is located on the Foothill College campus in Los Altos Hills, California.
