Dental Assisting Instructor Position

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified part-time dental assisting instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching didactic and clinical courses in four-handed chair-side technique, orthodontic procedures, dental materials, dental health education, dental sciences, and dental radiography.
Responsibilities- Teach and assess student learning in a variety of classroom and clinical settings.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve student success and retention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement assessment and evaluation methods.
- Master's degree in dental education or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental education or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends. The position is located on the Foothill College campus in Los Altos Hills, CA.
