Physics Instructor Position

Job Summary

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified Part-Time Physics Instructor to join our team. As a Physics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching physics courses and contributing to the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach physics courses to students of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and understanding.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be expected to work in an indoor office environment and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in physics, preferably at the community college level.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
