Role Overview:
As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer within the Pharmacy Services Finance Business Intelligence, Automation, & Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in transforming financial data into actionable insights for the CFO organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing intuitive dashboards and data visualizations that empower stakeholders across the enterprise to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design user-friendly dashboards and data visualizations, focusing on enhancing usability and speed of insights.
  • Collaborate with internal finance teams to identify and address analytical needs.
  • Work alongside data management professionals to create new analytics products efficiently.
  • Facilitate discussions on design and feature engineering during peer reviews.
  • Provide expertise in data visualization, offering recommendations on project scope and deliverables.
  • Integrate large datasets from various sources to create comprehensive semantic layer data sources.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of developed solutions meet organizational standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating existing processes.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests to support the finance organization.
  • Mentor junior analysts by providing technical guidance.

Qualifications:
Basic:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline.
  • 5 years of experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • 5 years of experience in financial data analysis or finance-related roles.
  • 5 years of experience in writing advanced SQL queries.
  • 2 years of experience leading large-scale analytics projects.
  • 2 years of experience with cloud-based database platforms.
  • 1 year of experience using Python or R for analytics.

Preferred:
  • Experience with visual design principles and pre-attentive attributes.
  • Experience managing server-based BI platforms.
  • Tableau Certified Data Analyst certification.
  • Familiarity with data mining and wrangling tools.
  • Understanding of data management concepts such as ETL and dimensional modeling.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges creatively.
  • Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Capability to work effectively in dynamic environments.

Compensation and Benefits:
The typical pay range for this role is between $92,000 and $201,900 annually. This range reflects the base salary for positions within this job grade. In addition to base pay, CVS Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and various well-being programs.
