AVP Architect

Travelers Insurance is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge technology target state for the Applied Modernization Unit. As an Assistant Vice President of Architecture, you will collaborate with senior technology leaders to drive business transformation and pave the way for best-in-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate a unified architecture vision to drive business imperatives
• Lead a team of Enterprise Architects in collaboration with division-focused Architects to drive Cloud adoption and Modernization
• Partner with the Enterprise Cloud Enablement team to ensure patterns are implementable
• Define and lead technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of new technology architecture solutions
• Optimize talent strategy to ensure proper mix of resources and attract best talent

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in technology related field or equivalent with 10+ years of technology Architecture experience
• Provided mentorship to architecture leaders
• Organizational and transformational Leadership Experience in an agile operating model
• Expert level Software Engineering awareness
• Led development of strategic technology direction and architecture vision for an organization
