Job Title: Relationship Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager to join our Business Intelligence team at MassMutual. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong connections with internal business areas, understanding their data needs, and supporting business leaders' ability to use data to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal business partners to understand their data needs and use this understanding to consult on business priorities to identify high-value requests.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and the delivery team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of data needs.
  • Participate in business review meetings (BRMs) and 1:1s with key stakeholders to foster strong relationships, gain deeper insights into business partner needs, and align business intelligence initiatives with business strategies.
  • Act as a champion of BI tools/capabilities and identify opportunities to optimize and influence customers' adoption of BI solutions.
  • Provide training and support for ongoing education of BI products and services to drive a data-driven decision-making culture within the broader organization.
  • Serve as an escalation point of contact for our business partners.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the BI roadmap to drive effective prioritization and influence recommendations based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to facilitate timely execution of initiatives, providing support and influence where necessary to ensure successful completion of agreed-upon deliverables.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of insurance industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Relationship Manager or similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience with business intelligence concepts and practices.
