About Our Software Division:

Touchplan stands as the flagship software solution of MOCA Systems, Inc. It is widely utilized across numerous projects, making it the leading platform for construction planning and analytics. This real-time, cloud-based tool facilitates collaborative planning, essential for mitigating schedule delays and budget overruns. It provides both Owners and Contractors with immediate insights to monitor progress and foresee potential challenges.


Role Summary:

We are in search of a Construction Project Manager in the St. Paul, MN area to enhance our dynamic program team. This role involves the development and execution of strategic plans, timelines, and financial frameworks for large-scale construction initiatives. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in master planning, programming, design, estimation, scheduling, and the management of substantial, intricate facilities. Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective client communication. The ability to navigate politically sensitive public projects is crucial. Local candidates are preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies.
  • Create various Project Management Plans.
  • Draft RFPs, contracts, amendments, and other documentation for Owner approval.
  • Oversee contract administration processes.
  • Review and assess proposal requests, changes in scope, contracts, and amendments.
  • Supervise the design of structures to ensure adherence to Design and Sustainability Guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with building occupants and the Owner's program manager to ensure compliance with the Space Program and design intentions.
  • Assist in project close-out activities, including meetings, documentation, and training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, planning, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in master planning, programming, and managing large, complex facilities and capital projects.
  • Experience with State and Local government projects is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in an owner's representative role is highly desirable.
  • Technical proficiency in building systems and processes.
  • Experience in construction management.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Additional Skills: Design Skills, Site Development, Negotiation, Client Relationship Management, Project Management, Drafting, CAD, Conceptual Skills, Supervision, Innovation.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Project and Publisher is a plus.
