Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Traveling Superintendent with a strong background in Senior Living/Wood-Frame Construction. The successful candidate will oversee all facets of our construction projects, including the coordination of workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications, and maintaining schedules and budgets. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you will lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion while traveling and exploring new locations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee retail/commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
2. Implement all phases of the construction process, including ground-up construction, multifamily projects, and interior finishes.
3. Supervise personnel, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
4. Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
5. Ensure quality construction standards and appropriate techniques are utilized.
6. Monitor daily work progress and communicate project status to stakeholders.
7. Address any issues that arise and make necessary decisions throughout the construction process.
8. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
9. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as building and safety codes.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a construction Assistant Superintendent or in a similar role.
2. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
3. Experience in hospitality, multifamily, or senior living construction is essential.
4. Strong leadership and management capabilities.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills.
8. Willingness to travel extensively.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
10. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
