Key Responsibilities:
As Gateway continues to expand its network, we are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of large-scale construction initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within budget. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple large-scale network construction projects with an annual value exceeding $50M.
  • Collaborate with company leadership and construction partners to develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Ensure adequate resources and contractor accountability are in place for timely project completion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for construction partners on a daily basis.
  • Monitor daily project progress, addressing any obstacles and resource requirements promptly.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with leadership and construction partners to assess project status.
  • Provide detailed operational analysis and reporting to measure performance against established goals.
  • Oversee the verification process for construction invoices.
  • Assess and communicate material requirements to ensure availability aligns with project timelines and budgets.
  • Secure necessary permits and easements for construction activities.
  • Establish processes and capabilities that can be replicated in new regions as Gateway expands.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and balance diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheets, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A minimum of an associate degree in a relevant field; a bachelor’s degree or additional certifications are preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management within construction, utilities, or a related industry.
