Role Overview
At Smith Commerce, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Professional to join our Sales team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing sales opportunities to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, sell, and close sales opportunities to achieve sales goals
- Build and manage relationships with partner ecosystem reps, prospect executives, and decision makers, targeting mid-market and enterprise B2B businesses
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and progress deals through the phases of the pipeline
- Conduct needs assessments with prospective clients, understanding their pain points, goals, and budget
- Lead an opportunity through the solutioning process, collaborating with SMEs and solutioning team
- Take the lead on preparation and presentation of proposals and estimates
- Attend trade shows and host customer events
- Ensure accurate representation of opportunities and sales activities in Salesforce
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales
- Ecommerce experience preferred
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent oral and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to present ideas, negotiate, and problem-solve
- Proficiency with CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems
