Job Summary

The Document Specialist is a key member of the Smith Brothers Tool CO team, responsible for coordinating the creation of inspection reports and certification packages for tools. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and organize data for certification packages
  • Create job folders for the Quality Department
  • Review and verify processing certifications
  • Assist in the assessment and deployment of new document management systems
  • Propose recommendations for improving content management system capabilities
  • Identify and classify documents according to security level, function, and metadata
  • Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management laws
  • Exercise security surveillance over document processing, reproduction, and distribution
  • Write, review, and execute plans for testing new or established document management systems
