As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Logistics Support: Provide essential logistics assistance, encompassing order processing, routing, dispatching, and traffic management.
  • Customer Data Management: Maintain and update customer profiles, ensuring accurate entry of loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.
  • Communication: Keep account managers informed about problematic loads and the measures taken; update receivers and customers regarding load statuses.
  • Monitoring Deliveries: Oversee daily pickups and deliveries, confirming that all loads arrive punctually and in optimal condition.
  • Driver Coordination: Handle check calls from drivers to ensure timely deliveries; validate all load information before marking them as delivered for accounting purposes.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate discrepancies such as product overages, shortages, and damages, completing necessary documentation.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Arrange and adjust delivery appointments for all loads, accepting or declining based on guidance from account managers.
  • Routing Instructions: Provide comprehensive directions and instructions to effectively route drivers.

This is a Full-Time Contract role with a schedule of 2nd shift - Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics.
  • General understanding of the transportation sector.
  • Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence.
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Compensation: Pay rate ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, based on various factors including education, experience, location, and specific job responsibilities.
