Position Overview: Thomas College is seeking applications for the role of Head Custodial Supervisor. This position is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of all campus facilities to the highest standards. The Head Custodial Supervisor will be actively involved in the daily operations and will oversee the custodial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage custodial shift schedules while providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor budget expenditures and propose cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with established policies and timelines.
  • Provide in-house training for custodial staff, focusing on safety protocols, effective cleaning methods, and proper equipment usage.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential, along with a commitment to reliable attendance and diligence. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for candidates who have two years of supervisory experience. Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, are necessary, and a valid driver's license is required. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
