We are currently seeking a Lead Custodian to join our team. This pivotal role involves ensuring that all campus facilities are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards. The Lead Custodian will engage in hands-on work while overseeing the daily activities of the custodial staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage custodial shift schedules while providing necessary guidance to staff.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor budget expenditures and propose cost-effective strategies.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and standards, completing tasks within the designated budget and timeline.
- Facilitate in-house training for custodial staff on safety protocols, cleaning techniques, and equipment usage.
Qualifications:

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively while fostering team cohesion.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to the responsibilities of the position.
- Willingness to be present on campus during various shifts as required.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Preferred: Two years of relevant experience with proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, with a preference for knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver's license is required.
