Job Overview

Position Objective:
Raya Workforce is looking for a committed Construction Supervisor to manage on-site activities for various trades and personnel during the night shift. This position is essential for ensuring that all construction operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily operations for a specific project, ensuring seamless workflow and compliance with timelines.
  • Establish and enforce jobsite safety protocols, maintain cleanliness standards, and promptly report any incidents to the Safety Team.
  • Plan and coordinate subcontractor schedules and material deliveries to facilitate timely project progression.
  • Communicate labor and material requirements to the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager, while keeping precise daily time logs and cost allocations for each worker.
  • Assign materials to the appropriate cost centers and oversee project expenses through regular assessments.
  • Compile and sustain daily job reports, evaluate shop drawings for compliance with contracts, and maintain an updated set of jobsite drawings and progress images.
  • Secure and monitor necessary city inspections and manage requests for temporary utilities.
  • Participate in all jobsite meetings and collaborate with the project team to achieve project objectives.
  • Uphold high standards of quality assurance throughout the project and ensure the completion of all punch list items.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are fulfilled.
  • Guide and train Assistant Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers, supporting their professional development and involvement in training initiatives.
  • Supervise the maintenance of tools and equipment on the jobsite.
  • Manage the project turnover process, including the handover of keys and obtaining written confirmations from the owner.
  • Support the project team as needed and undertake additional responsibilities to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and coordinating multiple trades on-site.
  • Experience in safety oversight and quality assurance within a construction environment.
  • Skilled in interpreting and reviewing shop drawings and project specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on client engagement.
  • Capability to effectively mentor and train junior staff members.
