This position involves processing a variety of customer account transactions quickly, accurately, and confidentially. A client service specialist provides an exceptional banking experience to our customers by building relationships and offering appropriate products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cash handling functions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, check cashing, and balancing cash drawer and client service specialist transactions.
  • Learn basic knowledge of new and existing products and services.
  • Discuss and access customers' financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services.
  • Secure against loss by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawer and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
  • Identify fraudulent activity and read, understand, and follow all relevant SOPs.
  • Perform and support daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the branch, including balancing ATM, processing night drop, balancing negotiable instruments, processing returned mail, balancing credit card machine, monitoring lobby rate sheets and brochures.
  • Support referral goals for the branch by focusing on and identifying and referring basic bank products to the appropriate business partner.
  • Provide an extraordinary customer experience and perform other tasks as assigned.
