Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Psychiatric Technician I. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement treatment plans, including medication administration and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the treatment team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but High School Diploma or GED required.
- Health or mental health care experience preferred.
- Certificate in mental health technology or related field, such as licensed nursing assistant preferred.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association required.
- Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification required within 1 month of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal and observation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and think and act effectively in high stress situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $23.15 - $28.95 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
