Psychiatric Care Specialist

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks highly skilled individuals for the role of Psychiatric Technician I. This position involves working under the supervision of providers, leadership or RNs to provide various duties in assisting the treatment and care of psychiatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in patient care activities, such as vital sign collection and documentation
- Observing and reporting patient behavior and changes in their condition
- Providing emotional support and de-escalation techniques to patients in crisis
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Health or mental health care experience preferred
- Certificate in mental health technology or related field; BLS Certification through American Heart Association
Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $17.29 - $25.66 per hour. In addition, a competitive differential rate applies for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
