About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and passionate business leader to join the Fashion and Fitness team as a Senior Vendor Manager. This role will be responsible for developing and managing a dynamic business in our Outdoors GL, working in the Outdoor Equipment category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships, including negotiations and contract management
  • Drive sales, marketing, and promotions to achieve business objectives
  • Implement operational performance improvements and create a world-class customer experience
  • Own the portfolio/category from start to finish and meet targets for revenue and margin growth, selection count, in-stock rate, inventory turnover, and aging
  • Provide leadership across categories, driving systems, process, and customer experience improvements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience with Excel and knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
